Up till August 2019, Tom lived in South-East London and Tom was a Director of a unique wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people in their recovery from mental and physical ill-health in Lewisham. Prior to that, they spent 5 years in Malawi working with a church where Tom served as an elder. Tom has been employed by Hope Church since September 2019. Tom is married, has 4 children, and also cares for another, making their household 7 strong!
Tom brings a passion for the local church, and in particular people on the margins of society.
Helen has been married to her husband for 13 years and they have 6 small and very noisy children! They have been part of Hope Church Bedlington for 8 years and joined the leadership team in September 2019. Helen works part-time as a GP trainee She are passionate about seeing God’s Kingdom established in Bedlington, through having an excellent local church, that loves and serves the community! She adores family life, and is particularly passionate about seeing whole families being transformed though the power of Jesus!

Gary is a proud father of 3 fantastic (grown up) children, and husband to Lorraine. He is a worship leader and recently joined the leadership team. He is passionate about leading people into the presence of God through Spirit-filled worship.
Olly is husband to Mags, and Dad to Josh, Abbie, and Elijah. He’s also a foster Dad. Olly has a strong teaching gift, whether he’s teaching adults or kids!
Mwasi is husband to Chipi, and Dad to Joash and Levi. He comes from the “Warm Heart of Africa” and boy does it show through his generous welcome and pastoral nature.
