Whether or not you consider yourself religious or are familiar with church you would be so welcome to join us on one Sunday. Why not come along and give it a go?
When?
Our meeting starts at 10:30 am but people arrive from 10:15 for tea and coffee. We aim to be finished by 11:45 pm.
Where?
We currently meet at: East Bedlington Community Centre, 16-17 Station Street, Bedlington Station, NE22 7JN
How To Find Us?
East Bedlington Community Centre is at Bedlington Station, on the main road from the level crossings towards Stakeford. It’s in Station Street, but some mapping systems incorrectly show it as Ravensworth Terrace. It’s opposite the old station.
Parking
There is unrestricted parking on Station Street outside East Bedlington Community Centre. (The half hour maximum does not apply on Sundays).
When no more street parking is available, there are 3 further free car parks very close by:
• A few yards to the north, on the left (very small car park with about 10 spaces).
• Go south to the road junction, turn left, then on the left behind the shops. There is a pedestrian exit onto Station Street, a few doors along from East Bedlington Community Centre.
• Go south to the road junction, turn right, go across the level crossing, and there’s a car park on the left.
Public Transport
Arriva Bus routes 1 (Blyth – Ashington) and X21 (Newcastle – Newbiggin) pass the door, and route 2 (Blyth – Morpeth) stops the other side of the road junction. Get off at the stop called “Bedlington Station”.
Please note: East Bedlington Community Centre is often described as being at “Bedlington Station”, and indeed it is – the station is just opposite, but at present no passenger trains serve the station.
