Concluding the 3 part series on Revival, Dennis focuses on social transformation, that is, there is something about revival that changes the moral fabric of the community in which it occurs. He looks briefly at some of the legacies of the Wesleyan revival and then asks how we would describe the Church today. Dennis mentions initiatives such as food banks, street pastors, debt centres and jobs clubs run by all kinds of Churches across the nation and compares this with the state of the Church 20 years ago. He argues that a social transformation is indeed happening if we look at the big picture. Dennis believes these initiatives are the result of the Holy Spirit blowing through the Churches and the talk finishes with a plea to “let God arise”.
